1. Employer informed the following : Mr. Shibu Joy Samuel was repatriated due to his disregard for critical safety protocols, posing a significant risk to himself and colleagues. His employment was based on the experience and qualifications he provided, which is now questionable given his failure to adhere to basic safety norms and the failure to understand a machine he was working with for over two months. The incident, which resulted in injuries to himself and others, was caused solely by his failure to follow standard safety procedures.Despite working with this machinery for a couple of months and being supervised, he consistently disregarded safety guidelines, citing his 25 years of experience. He was repeatedly instructed to follow safety protocols, including depressurizing lines, Switching Safety ON and Switching OFF machinery before any maintenance which he failed to do. Our internal investigation confirmed his negligence, and as a result this incident had happened. The medical treatment carried out by the company, expenses for the hospitalisation, surgery, medication, the incident report of the factory, settlement papers, visa cancellation declaration is available with the company for references.
2. The same has been conveyed to the applicant and advised him to proceed through legal channel and provided list of EMbassy panel lawyer contact details for legal assistance. |
