2. The Embassy has taken cognizance of the matter and established contact with the employer (Manager, Black Sea Investment SPC) of Mr. Anmol Saxena. The employer informed that the company was not earlier aware of the concerns raised by Mr. Saxena and advised that he may meet him to discuss the matter. The employer also stated that, as per company policy and the signed employment agreement, the prescribed procedures would be followed and Mr. Saxena is required to complete the two-year contractual period. The same was conveyed to Mr. Saxena and his family, following which Mr. Saxena met his employer.
3. Subsequently, it was informed that the sponsor is demanding reimbursement of recruitment charges incurred towards the recruitment of Mr. Saxena, as the contractual period has not yet been completed. As the sponsor is not ready to settle the case amicably, and upon the request of Mr. Anmol Saxena, the Embassy registered his case with the Ministry of Labour vide reference No. REF2601080002 and advised him to approach the Ministry of Labour, Barka, to pursue his complaint for further necessary action.
4. The Embassy has also offered boarding and lodging facilities to Mr. Anmol Saxena at the Embassy’s shelter home, if required. The Embassy is closely monitoring the case and will continue to extend all possible assistance to Mr. Saxena. |
