Thank you for your email and taking interest in getting my engineering original degree released from my sponsor Mrr. Venugopal. I have also registered a case yesterday evening in the ministry of manpower through a sanad service center. Copy of the case acknowledgement is attached for your reference . I have done this to protect my rights . To harass me more , yesterday , Mr. Venugopal sent me a letter accusing me of being responsible for some tendering error which is going to result in a loss of RO 60,000.00 to the company . He is threatening to take legal action against me . I am attaching a copy of the letter for your reference. I am not responsible for any such error. The tendering process is a group activity and not by a single individual. . Tendering is mainly handled by the quantity surveyor . Mr. Venugopal is fully involved in the tendering and quantity surveyor has been submitting all the tenders to Mr. Venugopal ., who , during the process of tender preparation has been advising and returning back with any changes desired by him. I am not an authorised signatory in the company and do nor carry any profit or loss responsibility. The final tender submission has been submitted by Mr. Venugopal and he only has signed the awarded contract document. Being head of the company and owner he he is responsible . Venugopal is trying to malign my image and trying to block me from joining a new employer. I am no more under his sponsorship because my residence card has already expired. I am now consulting a lawyer to reply to his notice . This was for your information and record.

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I am facing due to the unlawful issuance of a sponsored tourist visa in my name by my previous employer, Al Hajiry Trading LLC, without my knowledge or consent, which is now obstructing my re-entry to Oman for a new employment opportunity.
Personal Details: Name: Venkatraman Govindarajulu Passport Number: X6541803 Previous Visa Type: Tourist Visa Previous Employer: Al Hajiry Trading LLC Designation: Manager (QA/QC) Employment ID: AHT-7299 Period of Employment: 09/03/2025 to 28/05/2025 Date of Resignation: 19/05/2025 (as per 7-day notice in offer letter) Date of Final Exit: 28/05/2025
I had been employed with Al Hajiry Trading LLC on a tourist visa, with the understanding from the employer that the employment visa process would follow post-joining due to project urgency. Upon deciding to resign, I followed all formalities including submitting my resignation in writing, handing over responsibilities, and exiting Oman on 28/05/2025.
However, to my dismay, my new employment visa application (with BEC) was rejected by ROP Oman on 12/06/2025 due to a still-active tourist visa issued in my name by Golden Holidays Travels, allegedly on behalf of Al Hajiry Trading LLC, without my knowledge or approval.
Despite several follow-ups with Mr. Bijo Thomas (HR Manager) and a travel agency representative (introduced as Mr. Benny), the issue remains unresolved. I was also misled into paying 30 OMR for cancellation which was later refunded due to non-action.
The HR manager claims no responsibility for the travel agency’s actions and refuses to confirm cancellation. This situation is deliberately blocking my new employment opportunity and causing unnecessary hardship and distress.
I kindly request the Indian Embassy in Oman to:
Intervene in this matter and take it up with relevant Omani authorities to cancel the invalid visa issued without my consent.
Support my re-entry to Oman by ensuring the visa record is cleared at the earliest.
I am attaching the following supporting documents for your reference:
Previous employment offer letter (Al Hajiry Trading LLC)
Resignation acceptance copy
Handing over clearance certificate
Exit flight ticket copy
Passport copy
New employment offer letter (BEC)

The passport details are not found in the PSP system. As she does not have the sponsor's details or passport details we have referred her case to the CID department for performing finger print to find the visa status and retrieve sponsor's and passport details. After retrieving the information from the CID department accordingly, she has been registered under the Amnesty Program through the Ministry’s official website.Reference Number: 202506230047. As per our previous communication, I have now received a formal warning memo from my employer (Asyad Facilities Management LLC), which contains several threats including salary deductions, termination, and a demand to pay OMR 1000 before departure.
I am sharing this document with you for your kind attention and protection. I have not been paid for four months, and this memo seems to be an act of retaliation for reporting the matter.
I kindly request the Embassy’s urgent support and protection against any false absconding report, unfair deductions, and forced payment threats.
Thank you again for your kind assistance.
Sincerely, |
