The Embassy has taken the cognizanc of the matter and established contact with Mr. Sekhar and advised him to approach the Embassy for conveying the details of the case. It has been learnt that Mr. Sekhar travelled to Oman on a tourist visa in November 2025, which was subsequently expired and the visa status remains same. As he is still on tourist visa he can travel on Emergency Certificate (EC) after clearance from the Immigration Department.
In order to facilitate the repatriation of Mr. Sekhar, Embassy has issued EC to Mr. Shekar and sent the details to the concerned authorities for necessary clearance. Once the approval is received he will be repatriated accordingly. |
