The employer has provided the following explanation regarding the grievance, which has been conveyed to the applicant.
1. Early Release Request The employee informed the company that he had secured a government job in India and requested an early release. Based on this representation, and as a gesture of goodwill, the company agreed to release him within 30 days of resignation, despite the company policy requiring a 90-day notice period.
2. Salary Dispute and Threat As per company records, the employee’s basic salary is OMR 250. However, he is now demanding OMR 600. Additionally, he has stated that if this demand is not met, he will join a competitor and disclose confidential company information. This conduct is inappropriate and constitutes a serious breach of professional ethics and confidentiality obligations.
3. Visa Cancellation Policy According to company policy, visa cancellation cannot be processed before completion of the contract period. In cases where an employee requests early cancellation, the employee is required to bear the visa cost of OMR 350.
4. Outstanding Payment The company has already paid OMR 350 on 26-03-2026 against the total outstanding amount of OMR 842. The remaining balance of OMR 492 will be settled in instalments over a period of two months due to current financial constraints |
