The Law firm has informed that The defendant is obligated to pay the plaintiffs the legal blood money amount of 10,000 Omani Riyals, and obligated her to pay the expenses and the amount of 300 Omani Riyals for attorney fees, and rejected any further claims.The matter has been conveyed through MADAD portal.

I spoke to Mr. Tigin son of the applicant. He informed he and his family is residing in Muscat since 10 years and he was bringing his father on 1 month tourist visa, flying from Cochin to Muscat via Air India Express on 27.02.2026. Later, on arrival at airport Mr. Mathews was stopped at airport immigration as in their system it was showing through finger and eye check in his passport has an ongoing case 20 years back at Saudi Arabia.
Hence, the airport immigration advised to send back Mr. Mathew’s back to his home country. Mr. Tigin informed he will finish with the formalities here and along with his father (Mr Mathews )will fly back to Kerala (India).
