International Yoga Day (IDY) 2025

Embassy of India in Muscat invites you to join in IDY 2025 celebrations being organized as per following details:
Date: 21 June 2025
Time: 5-8 AM
Venue: Omani Village Amphitheater in Al Qurum Natural Park.
Timeline (this would be strictly followed to avoid exposing participants to the heat post sunrise):

If there are 25 or more members in your group, you are also welcome to come collect the Yoga T-shirst ahead of the #IDY2025InOman by @indemb_muscat from the Embassy (date and time period for such collection would be informed here shortly).

Download from here Version 2.0 of the IDY 2025 Handbook released by AYUSH (Government of India Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy), providing comprehensive and updated guidance to all stakeholders planning activities for the International Day of Yoga 2025.
Notes:
-RSVPs, particularly group rspv's and thus with large numbers per rsvp, may kindly be exepedited. This will help us ensure that arrangements made are in sync with the actual particpation.
-IDY venue (Oman Villate Amphitheatre is just behind the octagonal entrance at Gate 1 of the Al Qurum Park.
-Kindly park your vehicles only in designated partking areas.
-Those entering the Park through Gate No. 1 may park their vehicles outside the gate; IDY venue would be 200 ms from there.
-Those entering through Gate No. 2 may park at Wadi (inside the park); IDY venue would be 500 ms from there.-There are toilets / changing room facility near the venue.
-Please do wear comfortable trousers, if possible of blue / black colour.
-Venue may have some mosquitoes, may wish to apply mosquito repellant ointment, if so desired.
-T-shirts and cottog bags may be collected from the distribution point at the venue (behind the stage and near the washrooms).
-You may wish to keep your shoes and other things in the cotton bag that be given along with Yoga T Shirt. You can can keep your belongings in the cotton bag near your Yoga mat.
-For those so preferring, there would be a separate ladies section for yoga; separate ladies queue for collecting T-Shirt/ cottong shoe bags; and, separate ladies queue for snacks.
-Kindly do not bring any big bags to the venue.
-Mobiles may be brought to the venue but to be kept on mute.
