Msg from ICCR 'As you are aware Dr. K. Sreelatha was selected as the ICCR Chair at Dhofar University, while she was serving as Professor at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kerala. she was to join the university in January 2025. However, in view of her retirement in May 2025, she was asked to join after her retirement. Meanwhile, ICCR approached FD section for pay fixation w.r.t. Dr. K. Sreelatha. FD section has now (last week) fixed her FCA equivalent to ‘Freelancer’ (earlier equivalent to Minister). Chair section has informally conveyed her of the financial implications and Dr. Sreelatha still seems to be interested. I’ve asked Chair division to send a mail in this regard. Meanwhile, the Accounts Section of ICCR is working on the fixation of her basic pay. Once all these formalities are completed, a revised Offer of Appointment will be issued to Dr. K.
