The Embassy has contacted the employer of Late Mr. Kishan Bolleji, Mr. Sultan of M/s RAK Mix LLC, regarding the settlement of pending dues. The employer is scheduled to visit the Embassy on Sunday, 28.12.2025, to discuss the matter. The Embassy will provide further updates after the meeting.

The Embassy contacted the local authorities to ascertain whereabouts of Mr. Jishad. It is learnt that Mr. Jishad is currently detained at Al Khoud Detention Center on the charges of consumption of illegal substances (drug use). The case is currently under trial and a travel ban has been imposed on him.

The Embassy has taken up the matter with the local authorities who in turn have confirmed that Shri Jahangeer is currently detained on charges of drug use in Bousher Police Station and that his case is under consideration with the Public Prosecution for further reference to Court for trial. His repatriation can take place upon completion of ongoing legal proceedings.

In this regard, the Embassy has been in communication with Mr. Yousuf, a former colleague of Mr. Nayak. Mr. Yousuf has informed that discussions between the concerned parties are at an advanced stage and has requested that the petitiion be kept in abeyance for the time being as the matter is expected to be amicably resolved at the earliest.

It is also noted that Mr. Yousuf remains in contact with Mr. Nayak’s family and has been apprising them of the developments in the case.

The Embassy has established contact with Mr. Vignesh. He informed the Embassy that he had raised his grievance with the Ministry of Labour which was subsequently transferred to the Primary Court, Seeb. The Primary Court has issued a verdict stating that Mr. Vignesh is required to settle the recruitment and visa-related expenses payable to the sponsor. Mr. Vignesh visited the Embassy yesterday and informed that he is in the process of arranging the required amount in order to settle the matter with his employer and facilitate his repatriation to India.

 
Mr. Subin is currently detained at Boushar Police Station, Muscat, under the custody of Royal Oman Police (ROP). The Embassy had earlier issued a travel document to Mr. Subin on 24.04.2025 to facilitate his return to India. Subsequently, the ROP official informed that travel ban has been imposed on Mr. Subin due to pendency of another financial fraud case. At present, the ROP is coordinating with the Public Prosecution department to obtain the necessary clearance for his travel to India as the case remains under consideration. Upon receipt of official request from the ROP for reissue the travel document, the Embassy will arrange to issue the same on an urgent basis.
