Dhofar University has indicated that the visiting professor may join from Spring semester starting from Feb 2026. 
Proposal from Omani side is still awaited and is currently under consideration of Undersecretary of Tourism, MoHT. During the recent meeting with Mr. Ayoub, MoHT on 04 Nov 2025, he informed that they have been asked by their Undersecretary for the internal designs of the Sultanah ship.
