MOFA replied that Mr. Mukesh Kumar Prasad entered the Sultanate of Oman on June 15, 2025, via Muscat International Airport on a work visa sponsored by Bahwan Information Technology LLC. On August 12, 2025, he departed the Sultanate of Oman via Muscat International Airport. 
As per the NC revert from Mofa, the concerned person details are not available with their system. Thus, the family had been advised to verify the prison details as the concerned is also holding an Emirates Civil ID.

The Embassy has received a representation from the brother of the deceased, Mr. Sibi stating that the deceased had been residing in Oman for the past 30 years. Their aged mother is devastated and wishes to see her son’s face one last time.

Mr. George visited Embassy 3 weeks ago alongwith one Omani nationals Mr. Mahmood. He informed that Mr. Mahmood is helping him to withdraw the civil case from ROP, Sohar. Furthermore, he informed he is also arranging money to pay fines for traffic violation. As per his request applicant form for Emergency Certificate was given to him. He mentioned that once the case is finished from ROP he will approached Embassy for issue an Emergency Certificate for his travel.  
The Embassy official contacted Mr. Anandh, who informed that the visa cancellation could not be completed due to the sponsor’s unavailability. He added that the amount paid has been retained as security, to be reimbursed if the employee returns to continue work. The employee has been advised to coordinate directly with Mr. Anand regarding visa cancellation and to update the Embassy if unresolved.
