The Embassy has approached local authorities and learned that Mr. Abdul Aziz is in the custody of Royal Oman Police, Samail Police Station, in connection with a case of rioting, property damage, arson, and assault at the OIG company premises. The investigation is ongoing, and the Public Prosecution will decide on further legal action once the report is submitted. The Embassy is closely following up the matter.
