Embassy contacted Ms. Baldish Kaur who informed that she has been in Oman for 3 years. She is on employment visa and has been working with current sponsor for one year. As per Ms. Baldish Kaur her visa is expiring in July 2026. However, Ms. Baldish is not willing to work and wants to go back to India as she is having health issues (kidney stone). She requested Embassy assistance for her repatriation.

She mentiond that the visit programme is yet to be finalized, as Shri Arun Singhal, former DG NAI has retired in April 2025. The new DG, Shri Samar Nanda, who is currently serving as JS in the Ministry of Culture, has recently taken the charge. As soon as the programme receives the necessary approvals, they will share the final details with the Mission.
