Received 2 NVs regarding the subject matter:

NV dated 24.07.2025: The aforementioned person is missing, as he left his residence in the Wilayat of Bausher, Ghala area, for an unknown destination on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

NV dated 14.07.2025: On 7/7/2025, the aforementioned person left his home in the Ghala area and headed to an unknown destination.

2. Furthermore, an NV would be forwarded to Foreign Ministry to ascertain the whereabouts of the applicant.

 
The applicant, in his voice note, mentioned that he does not know in which jail Mr. Razaque is. Also, he stated that there was some dispute/fight between Mr. Razaque and another Indian citizen, thereafter, both were taken to jail. He gave the number of Dr. Ali (+968 96606666), an Omani citizen. Mr. Razaque was working under Dr. Ali.

Mr. Naif Jamal, 25, ex-employee of Almarai, admits to misusing OMR 4,712 meant for the company, which he lost in crypto. A case was filed, but he learned of it only via SMS. Now unemployed and in severe financial distress, he is unable to repay the amount. He seeks the Embassy’s help, expressing remorse and requesting mercy, as his actions have also pushed his family in India into deep debt and suffering.

We tried to file online complaint on MOL website. However, we were unable to file hence, the applicant has been advised to approach MOL and file the online complaint for her repatriation.  
As the case is pertaining to local labour court, thus the applicant has been advised to take-up the matter through legal channels.


However, it is noteworthy that, as per Local Labour Law in Oman "the employee's right to make any claim under the provision of this law shall expire after lapse of one year from the date on which such claim arises.
